The High Holidays are behind us as well as Sukkot and Simchat Torah. I want to offer a big thank you to the Rabbi, Sharona, Zohar and all of the volunteers who helped make our holidays happen. All of you helped make our Zoom services warm, inclusive, and almost as good as if we were all together and in person. Yasha koah to all of you!
I know everyone is looking forward to resuming in-person services the first weekend in November. An email detailing the protocols will be going out this week. Remember that all those vaccine-eligible must be vaccinated and that we must adhere to the mask requirement and to social distancing. You will also have the option of continuing to zoom for services.
Remember, our National holiday of Thanksgiving is this month. Please take the time and think of all the things we are thankful for. Ask yourself if you can do something to make this holiday special for some less fortunate than us. It is a busy time for the food bank. Please try to be cognizant of the fact that there are many people in our community who do not have the resources to have a special meal at Thanksgiving. If you have the ability to drop of some can goods or send in some Kroger, Publix, or other gift cards to help the Food Bank get the resources they need either when you come for services or you can check with Stephanie to make sure she is here to be able to drop it by, your participation is appreciated. Please try to do so before Monday, November 22, 2021, so that we can get them to the Food Bank. Being thankful, it is the reason for the season!
Hope to see all of you in shul!
Shalom!
Shelley
